Ian Diaz – Associate Attorney

Ian devotes his practice to representing community associations on litigation, governing document enforcement, and day-to-day transactional corporate issues.   

Professional History

Ian began his legal career advocating on behalf of injury victims across California at prominent San Diego personal injury law firms. He has experience litigating throughout California courts since 2016. Ian has successfully prosecuted claims on behalf of association clients.

Ian earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2015 on an Academic Merit Scholarship. Prior to law school, he received his Bachelor of Arts and Science in Political Science with a Minor in Economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Ian was born and raised on the island of Oahu where he worked as a Legislative Liaison for his hometown community association before moving to San Diego in 2012.  During his legal education, Ian served as an intern for the Honorable Debra Carrillo and as a Law Clerk for the County of San Diego Department of Agriculture, Weights & Measures.
